Hot Shots Tennis
Tennis lessons are conducted daily at the Gladstone Tennis and Squash complex. KT Academy offers group lessons for juniors aged between 5 and 12 years through our Tennis Australia endorsed ANZ Hotshots program. In these lessons, students use low compression balls to begin to explore the fundamentals of tennis. As your kid’s progress, the emphasis then moves to learning to score and playing the game of tennis.
Next-gen and Performance tennis
We offer squad-based lessons every afternoon that cater to a wide range of abilities. Our NextGen Squads are for players who play regular fixtures and are looking to reach the next level with their tennis. These classes include technical analysis, point play, tactical feedback, fitness, match-play and strength and conditioning training.
KT Academy provides one-on-one private coaching which can help you take your tennis game to the next level! Private lessons are ideal for personalised drills and instruction to target specific areas players want to work on. We also offer ‘private pods’ for those who are interested in taking tennis classes in reduced group sizes. Contact us for more information.
Adult Tennis Coaching
At Gladstone Tennis and Squash KT Academy provides adult tennis coaching for all abilities. Adult coaching is a fun way to get outside and enjoy the fun sport of tennis. KT Academy provides both cardio tennis and adult coaching sessions.
Cardio Tennis is an extremely fun way of getting a workout. It’s a fun-filled tennis-based workout using the tennis court and many tennis drills and games as the platform to deliver an action-packed fun workout for about 60 minutes. Participants regularly burn between 400 and 800 calories in the workout and enjoy plenty of laughs along the way. See what cardio tennis is all about here
